The Northwest Area Foundation (NWAF) is a private foundation that is dedicated to supporting groups that advance economic opportunity for Native Americans, communities of color, rural communities, immigrants and refugees.
Originally established as a traditional grant-making organization, today, NWAF supports the work of proven or promising organizations, entities that have either a demonstrated track record or are poised to do innovative or cutting-edge work to move people out of poverty and toward sustainable prosperity.
